In the autumn of 2026, Mathias Kuypers, Caroline Coolen, and Stijn Wybouw will gather in Pelt for an artistic experiment that explores the boundary between perception and disruption. At the core is a sound and video work based on a series of storm studies.
Here, the storm is not viewed as a destructive force, but rather as a source of
imaginative power, a metaphor for how natural phenomena, as well as turbulent chapters in human history, can distort our worldview.
Once the storm fades away, its remnants form an installation.
In addition to visiting during regular opening hours to view the installation, you can
attend two activations: on Saturday, October 31st and on Friday, December 11th, both at 7:00 PM.
